Mississippi ''The Delta'' Is First!

The Mississippi “The Delta” is the birthplace of the Church of God in Christ and has been instrumental in shaping its leaders. Many prominent figures in the church, including Senior Bishop C. H. Mason and Presiding Bishop J. O. Patterson Sr., have their ancestral roots in the Delta. Despite its unwavering loyalty and support, the Delta has been underrepresented in the church’s leadership. This region embodies essential values such as reliability, faithfulness, and unity, serving as an anchor for the church’s mission.
